Eve--This is a real "birthday" for your Mom--she's now in a safe place where she can watch over you, just the way you watched over her for so long. I'm thinking of you.

I came upon your blog a few days ago as I start my own blog about my own personal journey as a full time carer of my Mother-in-law who has Alzhiemers. Life is just starting to get real complicated. I've learned a lot from reading over your archives and it sounds so familiar. Please accept my condolences.

Here it is 2008 and your story of your mother touches my heart. She is still giving as are you. I hope you are well, and I appreciate what you have shared. You and I share the same path as did our Mothers. Love to you and strength.
